Our reception staff have training in signposting, meaning they are trained to direct you to the most appropriate clinician or service. They process prescriptions, register new patients, organise and distribute the practice post, answer queries and book appointments, as well as a range of other duties as outlined below.
Anne Liston (f)
Anne has been with us since 2012. She oversees the day to day organisation and running of the reception area. She also monitors cytology, ensuring the admin surrounding the smear examinations is up to date and correct.
Lynn Spice (f)
Lynn has been part of the reception team since 2016 and now has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of reception.
Katie Wale (f)
Katie joined us in 2017. Katie ensures that when a patient leaves the practice, their medical notes are sent to the appropriate location. She also looks after the diabetic foot clinics.
Katie Richards (f)
Katie started at Court Street as an apprentice at the beginning of 2017, before becoming a full-time member of staff in February 2018. She now monitors and books all diabetic checks to ensure anyone who is overdue is booked in for a review.
Keiley Witcombe (f)
Keiley joined us as an apprentice in early 2018, and subsequently become a full member of the reception team. She continues to expand on her knowledge and skills within reception under the guidance of her mentor and other reception members.
Emily Hopkinson (f)
Emily joined us in 2018. Emily keeps track of each patient who requires an asthma and COPD review and gets them booked in.
Lisa Taylor (f)
Lisa joined us in 2020 and has worked within general practice for a number of years. As well as working on reception, she also works as a Healthcare Assistant alongside our nursing team.
